Upcycled and Colorful Metal Headbands
I really like colors. I hate wearing Black or White, it seems boring to me. In my closet you can find Red, Purple, Green and Blue pants and tops in all colors of the rainbow (except Yellow. I don't look good n Yellow. It's a complexion kind of thing...).
I try to keep my accessories colorful too and since I have many colors in my closet I need accessories in all kind of colors. Now, what can be more colorful than the Nespresso coffee capsules? Such nice colors and shine and excellent size to be making stuff out of.
The Internet is full of inspiration and tutorials on how to turn those little color capsules into works of art, and just a quick glimpse on YouTube or Pinterest can make your head spin from all the possibilities. Ever since I found out that the capsules can be upcycled I've been meaning to make something out of them so I kept them (clean) in a special little box. After playing with a few capsules, cutting and folding and squishing and throwing away some, I figured out a way of doing cute little flowers that sat around for awhile until finally it hit me: Why not use the flowers as accessories embellishments or even as the real thing!!
So, after all this introduction, I proudly present you with my new creations of upcycled headbands:
Purple & Moss Green
Coral & Dark Blue
Grey & Gold
The nicest thing about these are that they are completely customizable, so if you like Grass Green and Pale Pink you can get a headband that will fit your taste exactly. How cool is that??
In my shop you can find my newely created headbands, as well as ask for a custom headband according to your preferences.
